They sat in the pantry until a moment of weakness. I ate some got disgusted with myself and threw the rest out.

That sounds like the perfect diet food!

Eat some and then toss them. There is a package of oreo cookies in my cupboard. I did not put them there though...I was able to ignore them this morning when I set the crock pot for dinner.

I made a flourless chocolate cake today from a new recipe. I'll let you all know how it turned out once we give it a try.

this is kinda random, but one of my neighbors gave me some gluten free cake the other day i ate half of a piece and after that half it made me sick like 15 20 mins later. then i ate more later and the same thing happened. is that normal with gluten free food? or was it something that she put in it that made me sick?

More than likely it was a substitute for the gluten flour that you have a sensitivity too.
She may have used a nut flour instead of wheat flour.
I have use coconut flour instead of wheat in cookies before.
Ask her for the recipe and keep an eye out for future sensitivities.

Oh yes! What I love about those flourless gems is you don't have to have very much to be satisfied. At that's saying a lot coming from a chocolate junkie like me!!

Absolutely right...a small piece is enough (although DH's small and my small are 2 different sizes, lol).

It looks delicious, but super rich.

You're right on both counts!
