Any Home Bakers Here?

Have any of you master bakers ever made pretzels (the german kind, all soft inside)? I'm wondering whether they are difficult/involved. I went past a german bakery and forgot to go in (they had a pretzel on their sign) and now I'm craving pretzels.
I have made pretzels. They are very tasty!

I am working on the pretzel recipe now. I might do some butter and cinnamon sugar too! I will also make regular so a 50\50 split

I had fun tying them into shape



Half of them have salt and half have cinnamon sugar. The first tray was a cookie sheet with sides. They did not get as brown of a bake on them:

They are worth making for sure!
