Any Home Bakers Here?

huge groan...... I'd LOVE both of those. I really should unsubscribe from this thread. It's too hard seeing all of this delicious food and hearing about it, and not having any. :(
This thread gets me too!
I need to make a silk pie now....

I did pick some blackberries on Monday, but not enough for a pie. :(
I put them in the freezer until I can pick some more. Hopefully this weekend.

Haha come visit and pick all you want! We've picked about 13 freezer gallon bags FULL of berries that are in the deep freezer until I get the kitchen plumbing in working order again. (No kitchen sink sucks for canning!)

I'm sort of lucky with the sweet things. I'm not much of a cake/sweet pie eater, I look at the pictures and think 'ooh, yum' but I don't rush out to the cake shop.

Savoury on the other hand.... Completely different story. That I REALLY want. Sourdough. Soup. drooly-drooly-drooly
Me too!
I am looking forward to dinner tonight!

I will have to try the French silk pie recipe that was posted. DH has a friend that won't eat my French silk pie because it has raw eggs. It looks like that recipe cooks the eggs.
Yup cooked eggs.
Is the recipe that you posted your version, or the original?
I am assuming it is your version.
Modified version.
