need to go tend chickens back later do you have a good
sourdough dinner roll recipe?
How about sourdough biscuits:

Sourdough BISCUITS

1 tb Active Dry Yeast 1 c Sourdough starter
1 1/4 c Water-Lukewarm 5 c Bread flour
1/3 c Sugar Melted butter or Margarine
3/4 ts Salt

If you desire dissolve the yeast in warm water with a little sugar till bubbly. Sourdough is a yeast but rises faster with added commercial yeast. In a large mixing bowl add sugar, salt, sourdough starter, yeast and flour. Cover; set in warm spot and let rise until double. Punch down and turn out onto floured work surface. Roll out to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Dip both sides in butter or oil, and place on
well-greased baking sheet. Let rise 15 min.
Bake at 425 - 20 min. or until golden brown.

I mail out dried starter for free to those that live in the US. Send a message to me with a mailing address and I will get some out to you tomorrow.

Yes, The recipe should take 9 to 10 cups of flour.
I'm kind of new on here, but can I get in on the starter, too? I love to bake, and all these glowing reviews really make me want to try some!

EDIT too slow, wake up!

Ron, How do I get a private message to you with my address for
the Sourdough Starter? Thanks Aria

It just came into my head that if you substitute "bake" for "sing" in the old coca cola advertisement "I'd like to teach the world to sing", you've pretty much got a description of Ron. :D

chewoutloud/2015/08/24/the-best-crispiest-peach-crisp Only changes made was that I didn't drain any if the juice, didn't let the peaches macerate for the full 45 minutes, and add the spices directly into the peaches.

In fact, it was so good that I made a mini version today! (The original was already gone of course).

Mini Peach Crisp

Filling: 1 peeled, diced Medium Peach
1 Tbsp Sugar (brown or white)
pinch 'a Cinnamon
1/2 Tbsp. Flour
Crumble Topping: 1 Tbsp sugar (brown or white)
2 Tbsp Rolled Oats
1 Tbsp Flour
pinch a Cinnamon
1 Tbsp cold Butter cut into small chunks.

Mix filling ingredients and set aside.

Mix all the crumble toppings, minus the butter together, then work the cubed cold butter in with fingers until like cookie dough.

Pour peach filling into a small oven-safe dish (ramekins work well) and then scatter bits of the crumbly dough on top.

Bake at 350* F until edges are bubbly, peaches are tender, and crumble is golden brown!

Enjoy with a BIIIGGG scoop of Ice cream! Serves 1
