Any Home Bakers Here?

Thanks all for your kind words. Actually YOU ALL....and this site inspired me to start baking yeast products again. It started with Ron and his sandwich bread. I took Ron's recipe and modified it. And then I started working on a very quick and easy recipe and created the Peasant Bread. All FUN. Thanks again
 
\\\\I bake my bread in large tins. The Multi Grain: these are 2 pound loaves. You can make 4 ...l pound loaves.

The Peasant Bread is a 2 pound loaf. You can make 2 one pound loaves. Your choice.
I always weigh my dough. Have fun
 
interesting I have the new gas oven but it is also convection used that on tator tots
cane out nice tan 12 minutes.. my baking powder biscuits where just 10 minutes a pan
Convection ovens work great for baked food.
 
have not tried it on loaves of bread use basic but may soon :bow
I use convection for most things and use the regular bake for things that are covered.

Convection baking makes great great prime rib, baked chicken and other baked meats too. The air flow help with browning and cooks faster at a lower temperature
