Very nice:thumbsup One day, a long long time from now, I'll build a custom kitchen in this house, since the new owners of my last house are enjoying the last one I built. But this time, I'm hoping to do it with lumber I've milled and cured here.:fl

My last kitchen had a "baker's nook" small U shaped counter with hard maple butcher block counter top and inlaid in the counter were walnut pie rings.

When We were first married, we had a U Kitchen. You could get several people in there to cook at one time. It was awesome!

Well, this house had a HUGE closet in the foyer and a breakfast nook in the kitchen beside the back wall of the closet, a hall way kitchen (think 70's) and a big dining room. I blew out the closet, and made a U out of the breakfast nook. took the walls down (one load baring, a real pain) and extended the cabinet row all the way into the dining room.

Trying to find the pix. There out here somewhere.

think though nice to be able to do house remodel.... when we started looking for house out here we looked at one with 5 acres found many issues and was on a river that flooded half the land. The bank that held the note was not willing to do anything so would have turned into a money pit.. This was on my mind but was 3/4 an acre so left to the guys to decide, We walked in took our breath 3 garages and a tool room on the end almost the size of another garage there is a large storage over two of them.. The house came in at 2178 square feet they said 5 rooms, not, two are large closets really my sewing room is one the larger of the two the cat room as we call it had two doors in
