I used to make popovers quite a bit when I was a teenager, and I'm with you - love them straight from the oven with lots of butter. I haven't made them in a long time, but may whip up a batch now that you've reminded me about them!View attachment 1211283 Anyone ever make popovers? After years of remembering them from my mom, I started making them last week. They are super easy, light and super delicious.
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
2 eggs
Add all ingredients together, and beat until blended.
Heavily butter baking cups, and fill 1/2 full.
Bake in preheated 400F degree oven or 35-40 minuets, or until desired crispness. Upon removing from oven prick tops to let steam escape. Serve immediately (with lots of butter on every bite is my personal preference).
