Yes! It is great for that. Last night I popped corn with coconut oil and them topped with melted Ghee (clarified butter).

Someone asked a while back about cooking eggs in the Instant Pot (maybe @R2elk ?). I was reading a variety of things and came across these instructions for hard boiling eggs:

Yes it was me that asked. What I was asking about was not how to do it but whether or not any of the instant pot owners had tried it to verify if another poster's claims that fresh eggs "hard boiled" in an instant pot were very easy to peel.

If it were actually true, I might get an instant pot for the sole purpose of making hard boiled eggs from fresh eggs.

Ok... I'm guessing my plastic wrap wasn't completely sealed. A crust formed on the top that was way low on water. I dumped it out on a floured board and gave it a quick flour way kneed, then formed a ball. Tossed it in the parchment paper lined bowl and let it rise, then cooked it. Just came out at 200* internal temp. Looks great but going to let it cool before cutting in to see how it really turned out. It smells heavenly. If this works it will be my goto for all whole wheat recipes. I'm really excited seeing what it looks like. Oh and the smell is fantastic.

are they refering to regular hot pot to boil eggs
