Any Home Bakers Here?

Bills vs Beakes, I missed something....what is epi Bread? On my old
computer I get what looks like 5 delicious crusty buns...Yes? More information please. Thanks Aria
they do like like 5 buns! :lau
I did this, sorta http://ianknauer.com/pan-depi/
I saw him do it on tv, and it was a lil different than that recipe, it used instant yeast and was more sticky then the dough i made using those measurements came out. I just added more water to fix that

Bills and Beakes, WOW....thanks for posting the site. Never heard of this guy...BUT VERY NEAT SITE. Actually I think you have IMPROVED the shape of the bread.

Do you think it would work....if the bread was shaped like French or Italian loaf? The dough should be sticky? You say you added more water. I am most interested in learning more about this BREAD. I put his site in my favorites to read later. Thanks again, Aria

sure! hes got a TV show called "THE FARM". its on amazon ;)
you do? I dont, but thanks ;)
I think it would. I dont see why not, its just cut for the shape and to make more crust on it.
Yeah. the dough is rather sticky, it would be best to watch it so you can see what Im talking about. But when I made it with 1 3/4 water and 4 and 1/2 flour, it was very dry, so dry it wouldnt even all go together. dunno if thats my flour or humiditys fault, but I did have to add more
Sure! glad I could help!

My wife is a big fan of baking. She bakes cakes and chocolate cookies mostly and I often take her bakeries in containers from here https://allinpackaging.co.uk/ to work. My colleagues commended homemade cookies too. Her fav recipe of cookies is easy:

1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla In large bowl. Then combine the flour, cocoa,
baking soda, and salt; stir into the butter mixture until well blended. Mix in the chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.

Hey Welcome and thanks for the recipe we love exchanging them I am mobile today out paying bills moving money but saw the new post

Hey Luckyjack, welcome to the thread. You are indeed a lucky Jack since your wife is a good baker! Thanks so much for supplying us with one of her recipes. What is the name of the cookies? Hope you (and maybe wifey, as well) continue to visit the site. We love talking food and exchanging recipes!
