Anybody have a good recipe for vanilla cupcakes. I was asked last night to do 6 dozen cupcakes for a graduation in the spring... plenty of time. I did marble today which I’ve never done and they are good. Made a pan of brownies too.

Those are great looking cupcakes DMC! You really got a nice marbling look there.

I never make white cupcakes, DH is a chocolate fanatic. Hopefully, someone else can recommend one.

You'll have to show us how your's turn out, are you going to do your terrific decorating on them?

thanks for the link very interesting
Sure. If you do make it, the dough should be prettty sticky. by end of kneading, it should be able to, but just barely, clean itself off the counter. I found that my flour or humidity or something necessitates me adding a bit more water. try the measured amount first, and add as you see fit ;)

agree almost any bread we make depending on our local can add up to different amounts of flour

Just pulled a big loaf of French bread from the oven to have with our ham & potato soup for dinner. Looking forward to it already!

Darn took chilie from last week out of the freezer for tonight making cornbread muffins but you make hungry for potato soup and ham now

DH is in charge of making chili and it takes him 1/2 the day. I can whip up a big pot of ham & potato in about 2 hours...simple, filling, hot. And it's wonderful with shredded cheddar cheese dropped on top of it!
