I do like the cast iron. It’s cut down on dishes drastically! I get excited when I use it for something greasy. It’s seasoning as I cook!

When I was growing up, they claimed that barbecuing on the grill caused carcinogens to form in the meat.

They still do. I think about it each time Farmer Connie shows bbq. It takes a while, and it has to be charred, but women are more likely to get breast cancer.

Frying releases the same chemical that is in coffee so a warning sticker on cast iron skillets might show up one day! That is still up in the air though. We shall see.

Most of us ignore those labels! It is quite silly to put warning labels on lawn furniture
