I made homemade pizza in cast iron pans tonight. I bought a bigger one to see if I can master cooking in them. I used hubby’s grandmas also. I like hers better. The first one is my new pan.

Ha ha! I made pizza (sourdough crust of course), but decided to use a regular pizza pan instead of a cast iron.

Looks good! Give the new pan time. Cast iron gets better with age

I “have” to give the second dog to a guy down the road. He and his daughter saw my dog a month ago. Their Beagle had just passed away. I honestly was afraid of my dog being stolen because of their odd behavior! I promised to ask about the next litter of puppies. Lo and behold, my dog’s brother is available. I must be honest, I wouldn’t mind a second Beagle. They are used to the pack (as few as six, usually 12, and into the teens are brought for each hunt), and would be happier with another.

That bumpy can be smoothed out. I remember it being discussed in one of the cast iron videos.

Hey never had new cast iron good to know ... One of my cousins raised hunting dogs people came from far and wide for his Beagles We lost Billy the cousin close to 20 years ago no before they came out on visit he wanted to see my dog track neighbor layed the track three days before he was astounded at how she still found........

Dinner is well over, and I’m still sorry I didn’t choose cast iron for the pizza too. I really did consider it, and reconsider again.

I just bought a couple frozen pizzas at the store this afternoon since I was baking cookies I just threw them on the oven racks lol
