Thank you for making me feel less stupid about my stupid posts. :hugs
I saw a recommended book entitled The Modern Stand Mixer Cookbook for the New Bride.
It’s for “newly engaged, newly married, or just getting a new stand mixer” people. I think I’ll download it. I already read about using it to shred cooked chicken. I never would have thought of that! It is broken up by the attachment. The three that come with it, and the ones you can buy. It also walks you through attaching everything. For $5, I think it will be handy.
Guess...it is worth spending the $5....You will be able to work it
without....But it is not too much to spend if you really think you will need it. Why don't you wait until the Mixer arrives...it probably has some directions with it. And there is always US...
your BYC friends to help. You are so excited....that is Fun. Aria

I am looking forward to seeing the secret things to do that no one typically thinks of.
Turns out I need a Kindle Unlimited account (which I cannot figure out how to get).

Anyone have some good venison recipes? One of DH's friends have us 2 good sized chunks of it and we're not sure sure what to do with them lol
I cook venison the same as I would cook any good meat whether it is beef or pork although any recipe for beef is likely to work best.

The one exception that I have is to take a game roast, partially thaw it and slice it as thinly as possible. Heat a skillet with a little oil in it. Salt and pepper a slice of the roast. Drop it in the hot skillet, almost immediately flip it over and then remove it. Serve it as sandwiches or eat as is. It can be topped with a little "Horsey Sauce" from Arbys or make an Au Jus to serve with it.
