You can Learn. And I am a retired College Teacher ha ha. Years ago I had African Violets...they were green healthy leaves and they
did not bloom....at all. A friend of mine was having the same results....she said....let's join the African Violet Society and learn Why OUR VIOLETS do not bloom We did and the second year as a member I entered my blooming violets in the African Violet show.
AND I won Queen of the Show. It was a lot of fun. AND I learned
how to make them bloom. Aria

They NEED A LOT OF LIGHT...and feed Mircale Grow everytime you water ...once a week. Use very little mircale grow about 1/8 tsp.
They will bloom.
The key to getting them to bloom is long hours of darkness and cool temperatures. Those that are kept in well lit heated rooms will not bloom.

My mother kept one in her bay window on the west side of the house with the curtain closed at night and it would bloom all winter long. The on she kept in her kitchen where it was almost always near 80°F and well lit for at least 16 hours a day, never bloomed.

I kept one facing a huge south facing window in my living room with a wood stove running all winter and it never bloomed. I moved it to an unlit, unheated room and it bloomed within a month. I keep one in a kitchen bay window on the north side of the house now. It blooms profusely at Thanksgiving and Easter with some blooms all winter and this year it even had one blossom in July.
