Dog biscuits (I still can’t find the recipe I used long ago!).
2 1/2 C oatmeal (old fashion or rolled) or baby rice cereal
1/2 C broth
1/2 tsp salt if broth is without salt
1 egg

Combine all, and dump out onto wax or parchment paper. Knead for three minutes, and rest for three minutes (to allow liquid to absorb).

Smush out to 1/2” thick, and cut out your shapes. Bake @ 325* for 20 minutes.

I think he decided that they are better than Milkbones. Moist treats still have his vote due to more flavor. He was willing to eat numerous treats for the experiment.

Tomorrow is the day! The mixer and the cover are in the area, so there shouldn’t be anymore delays. The counter has been scrubbed and rearranged repeatedly. I even took a Magic Eraser to it. I want to paint the counter to make the mixer feel welcome.
