I'm already thinking about doing the cookies over again, not crazy about the colors and I can see where I need to improve.
I have a big stash of cutters like you DMC. The reason I got the cowboy hat, bonnet and dinosaur are because they pertain to specific groups here and I want to get proficient enough I can use them for luncheon desserts. We'll see how far that plan goes. I had no idea how long it takes to do those cookies!

I buy the wilton gels. Black is probably the worst. I try and buy the ones that are no taste.All those tiny little beads
Hey DMC, here's a question for you...how do you get the really bold, intense colors? Do you just use more of the coloring or do you have to get a special type of coloring? I've heard some say they can "taste" the darker colors and don't really want to affect the taste if adding more color to the icing does that.
