Any Home Bakers Here?

@BullChick hoping everything straightens out for you. I too have my moments of insanity. We love you anyway!

I am at work right now. Working Saturday - again - but I want to make up for time lost do to the extreme cold so I don't use up my PTO. Trying to save some PTO for a mini-vacation this summer.
I have pie crust in the fridge for a blackberry pie when I get home tonight. I forgot to make the pizza crust though, guess we will have pizza tomorrow night.

Blackberry pie sounds fabulous! And so does pizza actually. Hmm, might be getting toward time for lunch

You have a lot going on right now BC...:hugs
I’m not really crazy, I just play one on television. :D
Seriously, I think all of you know the stress of chicks screaming, and a dog acting crazy while trying to deal with something else. Whew!

Sourdough pizza dough only takes half an hour of resting. I don’t even warm it up from the fridge. It’s better when you do, but not necessary.

Dang, now you guys have me wanting pizza for lunch!!

We like to rest the pizza dough in the fridge for a couple of hours before shaping and baking it. It does allow it to develop good texture and flavor, and we can tell when we don't give it that time to chill. But it also makes it hard to have pizza without making it an all day affair.

I make up my dough the day before, portion it out, put it in the fridge. Then it's good anywhere from 1 day later to 5 days later.

Might have to get some made up today, DH will be home Monday :)

Okay, I guess I have too much crazy in my head. I thought I’d said something stupid. :D I’m better now. I dealt with the animals.
I AM ABOUT TO RAMBLE, PLEASE SCROLL DOWN IF YOU DON’T CARE!
The chicks were complaining, and I don’t know why (but I might have figured it out), the dog was jumping all over, and it was gross (he’s a poop eater and roller), painful (where he steps ) and he’s still having occasional accidents, so I was worried about that. Thennnnnn I cannot remember how I like my taco pizza because I haven’t made it in years, and:hit I don’t even know if I want it today or tomorrow.
 Somehow, someway I got my heating oil this morning. God Himself, or too many people were in need, or someone realized that it’s been crazy cold, and (despite it warming up) you can’t make people freeze to their death! For some reason I don’t trust that it’s actually warm in here, and I’m also really ticked about freezing yesterday and last night. I know I’m ridiculous. Apparently that’s who I am now. :duc
The babies can be very stressful!

Taco pizza will be good either way. I am very happy that you have heating oil back in the tank too.
