Any Home Bakers Here?

Making chilie and tator tots me thinks BF likes to cover his tots. We had about 7 inches fall new snow last night have 3 mildly brown banana's begging to be muffins.

It is COLD here today...and my sourdough bread....is S L O W
rising. Ron, What is the longest length of time to wait? 3 hours?

I would not go over three hours. You will likely still get a good rise when the hot air hits it.

I have used a heat pad on cold days. I set it on low

Thanks Ron....I did let it rise for 3 hours. I posted a photo. It is
a NEW Recipe. I did not like it. Going back to my original recipe

That happens to me too! I try a new recipe and then realize that I liked the old one.

Remember that bread should have at least 50% high gluten flour to raise correctly. If not, you will get a very dense bread
 
Often it is fun to try a new recipe the old Wisconsin cook book I use not all show a temperature but there will be more than one recipe for a certain other thing so guess banana bread has 3 entries only one shows a temp 350 - 375 but 50 minutes to 1 hour for the bread I set my muffins 35 minutes looked at 30 tooth pick said done

They have oatmeal in them and since I was out of chocolate chips , so I used Mini M&Ms.

I'm posting this here just because we were talking about it the other day. All the saddles I've made over the past couple weeks in my spare time :) I'm out of interfacing so I get a break for now.
