Any Home Bakers Here?

I cook frozen lobster tails for us on special occasions. It is good, but I am very picky about quality when I buy it. But, I love shrimp and buy farmed shrimp all the time.
I buy wild caught when I can find it, but it is not always available. Same with salmon, wild caught when I can, but must settle for framed sometimes.

I’ve had shrimp... what is it called when it’s cold, and hanging on the glass of red sauce? I didn’t like it at all.
I like crab wontons. I like crab in my Alfredo. I don’t like crab cakes.
I was Boston born, but never ate fish and seafood as a child. I’m trying to change that.

I love the little salad shrimps that they have at Aldi. I cook them up in oil with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. It makes almost a sauce on them and they are SO good on rice :)

And don't get me started on crab.... Crab rangoons, crab dip, crab in butter......:drool

only worse is this
yeah...not too big into country. or whatever this is..hahaha
Grandma would listen to some nice stuff, the OLD music. The noise they call country now is just that...to me anyway. I know a lot of people enjoy it...
Tempting, but you had your chance to get chicks lol. I think spring has officially sprung. I've had more people message me about chicks and poults this week than in the past month!

:smack yup, you got smacked lol. They get extra puffy because I replace the butter with applesauce. It's one the few recipes that I actually prefer the texture that way :drool

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?? :gig

That looks SO good! I'm suddenly starving and I don't even like ranch! Can you tell that all I had to eat this evening was a few girl scout cookies and a slice of zucchini bread? Lol

I do replace oil for applesauce in some recipes too. Haven't found that it changes things too much.
Ummmm...we are close to you & that is a good thing, thank YOU very much:plbb

Okay...now I have to rethink things about you...no RANCH?!?!..hummmm:caf

:hit I’m soooo sorry!!! :fl Forgive me?!
:thumbsup
It’s a great thing! I’m totally (not) worth it, and LMP might be worth half a loaf. :p
OH...OH...OKAY...this is how we are going playyyyy huh?!?:plbb...half a loaf my butt!!:bun

Pike Place fish market is awesome! But pricey. Red Lobster can be hit or miss. Oh, you've gotten me thinking about lobster mac and cheese :drool or a lobster roll :drool

I've only ever tried lobster once, off DH's plate at Red Lobster...I wasn't impressed. I would try it again but not go out of my way for it. I don't think I could cook one fresh though....
..not even lobster as I understand the definition...I like 'Red Lobster'...but the tiny little "crawfish" they give is not a lobster...
I can not eat shrimp anymore:hit...but I do eat fish on occasion (trout we catch)..but then pay royally for it, but that is another story for another thread.:hmm

Don't like to "hear" anything die that bad either..but they are quite tasty. I have seen some people put a knife through their heads before hand...sorry for any images there:oops:, don't know if doing that makes them any different (taste), than just sticking them in the boiling water...so glad I am not a lobster, geesh.
