DMC, I don't use a hand mixer much, but Sue does and really likes her food network mixer. It's a 10 speed mixer. I'll also have to confess that I'm a huge kitchen aid fan.

I use my big KA stand mixer for most things but when there's a quick, little job I like to use a hand mixer. For one thing, with the hand mixer there's less washing to do

I’m trying to decide between KitchenAid and Quisinart. I just googled Sue’s, it has the center post that I like. This is the one I bought this winter. I swear something was put in backwards.

Me too! I tried to mix a small batch of frosting with my hand mixer the other day and I ended up putting it in my big mixer as it would not blend. It kept going up over the top of my beaters.

Thank you Debby! I hadn’t seen that one. That Quisinart is the one I was looking at.

I like that one because of the 3 low speeds that are supposed to help with splattering. And the case to hold everything together.
