Ahh, I am neither a kid nor do I have any, so I don't often make play dough. I'm more likely to grab some modeling clay if I want to play that way.Cream of tartar is used in play dough. It’s the only reason I keep it around.

It is a substitute for baking powder but is not quite the same.I have baking powder no aluminum but did not know I could do it from scratch
always good to know in pinch thanks @BullChick
See, I don't have baking powder in the house, so I would end up buying self rising flour or baking powder, both would sit around until used.
Apparently baking soda does have it, because if you look at natural deodorants they all say "no aluminum (baking soda)" or something along those lines. Apparently the baking soda is rough on some people's skin.See I buy now no aluminum but honestly did not know there had ever had it in it
I love BC pie and donuts! All of this talk of donuts and filled cupcakes has me looking at donut recipes. Found one for Boston Cream that I think I'll try.
I don't see that recipe in the Google spreadsheet (hint hint)A while back I worked on perfecting boston cream pie. I likes parts of different recipes so I combined them! Them. The cream filling is fairly fool proof too:
I will add it now!I love BC pie and donuts!
