Any Home Bakers Here?

They are so incredibly soft. We're getting back into trying different snacks for work over the weekends along with cooking a couple of meals for the week. After a full days work, taking care of the animals, cooking a meal with a lot of prep is just too much and we hate eating out of a box.

I agree, it's too much after a full day. That's why I don't cook much during the summer when I work.

The cookies will be a nice treat during the week!

Tea is ready come get a cup. Help yourself to condiments on the counter.

I'm into my first cup of tea, while trying to talk myself into doing some work.
Thanks!

Hello everyone. I'm finding myself with lots of time to do whatever I want, but lacking the desire to do anything. I baked some cookies yesterday, peanut butter chocolate chip of course, and today I baked a crustless quiche for dinner. Planning to make bread tomorrow and a birthday cake for the oldest GS on Thursday. @rjohns39 you can freeze quiche uncooked, then bake from frozen and add a salad. It makes for a super easy dinner with lots of options for ingredients. Have a great day all!

We used to make a lot of quiches when we had a much bigger flock in FL. Freezing it is an excellent way of keeping it and just using what you want (we'd pre-slice ours prior to freezing).

What did you put in your quiche IM? Spinach & mushroom was our fave.

This one has grilled chicken breast, a couple slices of cooked bacon, pepper jack cheese and half a sweet onion. I'm serving with broccoli slaw and hash browns.
