Any Home Bakers Here?

:( I am extremely sorry to hear that.
No way out?
I suspect you need a lot of :hugs

Oh, maybe I better go look tomorrow ... and pull all the grass out of the bed as usual.

Maybe because it can be pretty expensive out of "local" season? The best price I ever see on sale is $1.99/lb. Of course compared to artichokes, even twice that would be a deal. When I found out I could grow artichokes as an annual a few years ago, life got better :D

If that is the WORST of your problems, I'd say things are going pretty well.

You'll practically be next door neighbors!

VERY much a weirdo ;) Garlic is a life staple, no garlic, life is not worth living.

I would think so. I'm really going to have to try making those. I do have some mason jars so I can make them larger than 3".
He loves garlic, just not on or in bread. But he’s still a weirdo because he likes Miracle Whip.

He is not in the house, but it’s still not a good situation. Thank you for the hugs.

I once saw it for free. Okay, the story is that a large donation of it was made to The Salvation Army. I was handy (and the officer’s daughter), so I helped hand it out at a senior complex where the seniors were still self reliant enough to cook. I will likely get some when stores are safer. I don’t trust anything loose right now.

The problem is that I just need a few spears so I can fry it with bacon pieces and scrambled eggs topped with melted cheddar, There is going to b e a lot more than that so I need to find someone to give it to. It won't keep in the garden and I only eat it freshly picked now. I have been spoiled by having super fresh asparagus.
Crustless quiche. Bake, cool, slice, freeze.
