It is 35°F and Graupel is coming down.

I didn't know there was an actual name for that stuff. I just call it styrofoam snow. :lol:

My mum found some big bags of flour in a shop 16kg AP white so she got one for me. I'm making bread, and I'm not feeling so bad about feeding my starter. The starter can stay out and I'll make something everyday while I feel up to it.
I made sourdough muffins the other day too, they were lovely.

I used to buy bread flour but now I bake with unbleached AP flour most all the time and haven't noticed any difference in taste or texture. The only other flour I use occasionally is cake flour for certain cake recipes.

Just made some cute Mother’s Day cupcakes for my Mother-In-Law. She loves sunflowers so I kind of ran with a Pinterest idea I saw years ago but did things slightly different. They’re not the prettiest but they taste good! I knew it’d take awhile so I just used store bought box mix/frosting/cookies but nonetheless it tastes fine!
