I hope you get the oven sorted out!I made pnut butter cookies today, the oven isn’t working properly. I thought with the new heating element it would be all better but it doesn’t get as high a temp as it’s set to. Got to the store for rye flour so my starter has been started.

Good News, it looks like I found somebody who might be able to take me for fall bear in august-october. I will know for sure in 2 weeks.
Also, I'm doing a deer hunt this October.
Then, its duck and goose season.
If I'm successful, I'm going to have a LOT of meat. May need to buy a new freezer.

The problem with bear is that the old rules for cooking pork still apply. The bear meat must be thoroughly cooked because they still can have the danger of trichinosis.
