Been too busy to bake much lately and my clothes are thanking me. Hanging out with you guys too much has added to my fluffy appeal.

I have posted the pie crust recipe before but a quick search does not show it.

3 cups of flour
1 cup of Crisco
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sucralose or sugar
cold water as needed

This is a simple and easy recipe. I form the dough into two patties, bag them and let them rest in the refrigerator while I am preparing the filling. It allows the moisture to distribute better and makes it easier to roll out.

Post #29,879 is the Rich Pastry recipe and makes an excellent crust. @rjohns39 tried it and gave it his seal of approval.

The egg yolk gives it a richer color and very good texture. I always received compliments when I used that recipe.
