Any Home Bakers Here?

Here the whole carcass must be presented for a tooth removal.
Here you can remove the tooth and send it in. No I'm not a hunter but there was an article in the paper about a week ago.

I'm about to the end of my 32oz bottle and am in sticker shock at the prices I'm seeing for anything close to what I have.
32 oz of vanilla extract??? Wow, the bottle we get is 4 oz, McCormick at the grocery store.

It is not a day trip!
Oh come on Ron, I bet you could get to Tijuana and back in 24 hours!

I hope you cheated, and used a stand mixer.
Using a stand mixer is cheating?? Ruh Roh

Here, the skull and hide needs to be presented to a fish and game official, and they need to remove the tooth.

speaking of which, my hunt check report went very well. I think I said that earlier, but I forgot.

I was on a roll, so I made peach crockpot pie. I used the big crock again. It uses 2 or 2 1/2 shells. I make three at a time from scratch
1 C crisco lard
3 C flour
1 tsp salt
Water as needed (1 Tb usually)

For the crockpot, you’re supposed to spray it. Put in the shell(s), and set the crockpot on high.
I added three cans of peaches (strained), and about 1/4 C brown sugar because the peaches were in water.
I took the remaining dough, added about three Tb flour and probably two Tb brown sugar to make a crumble topping.
Bake for 2 1/2-3 hours. This took 2 1/2 hours.

They were both good, but I think that I preferred the chocolate... no surprise there.
I think that the chocolate one would look especially good with whipped cream rosettes.
Banana goes very well with chocolate. You could try a banana chocolate tart. Or to heck with it, make baklava.
