Any Home Bakers Here?

What’s the normal egg season for Wyoming? When visiting my daughter there I remember thinking how does a chicken even lay an egg here. Cold and windy. Is the cycle just light dependent and heck with cold and windy?

Cold and windy is Wyoming for sure :gig My girls are older (they'll be 5 in a few months), I haven't had eggs since around October. I'm hoping they'll start again sometime in April.

Light dependent and breed dependent. I am getting a few eggs a day from White Leghorns without providing additional light. I am not getting any eggs from my Legbars.

OK it’s quite different here. Last dozen sold was first week of November. First dozen sold was in February last year. We still have days of zero eggs now but get enough to keep us going. Except for Christmas baking that’s when we bought the fertile eggs at Raleys. 4 of them recently hatched. Will you be getting new hens?
