Any Home Bakers Here?

Despite my efforts, I still had too many eggs. I’ve made one angel food cake, and will probably make another four. :thumbsup
It’s too bad I do not like angel food cake. In reality, I’m probably going to freeze some casseroles. I’ll have to see what I have to put in them.

If you like quiche, they freeze well. And maybe breakfast casseroles?

I don’t give treats really, just greens in addition to their feed. No scratch or anything like that. Sometimes a few mealworms or bafl
That is perfect!

The eggs will be nutritious and tasty. They might have more of some nutrients if fed more buggy things but not that much more.

Thank you Ron! The starter was nice and foamy this morning. Last night I discarded most of it leaving maybe 1/4 cup, then put 1 cup flour and 1 cup water in. I was wondering if it had accumulated too much hooch. Good tip about the potato starch though.
Adding some potato starch every week or so will make a big difference.

Good news on the starter getting more active!

Remember, sourdough is a wild yeast and sometimes will not work as expected. I love it!

It seems I like cinnamon angel food cake with diced peaches. :clap

I love it too! I think one of my issues was making tiny batches of starter. I’m going to not be so stingy in the future!
