That looks amazing 😍
I remember the days when I didn't used to have a hand mixer, I used to hand whisk all my egg whites and heavy cream! That mad for some very dead arms, lol.
I do that when I get bored or feel artsy :lau My hand mixer and stand mixer are probably like

Just fed my starter, I'm trying to build it back up and get it more sour. I added a tablespoon of ACV with the mother during last night's feeding. It was really interesting; it was less bubbly but it had a very different smell. Still tangy, but more of a warm whole wheat smell. Y'all know how sometimes a chicken that's been sunbathing outside smells nice and cozy and bready? That's how the starter smelled. I'm going to be waiting two days between feedings to really bump up the sour.

For reference, my starter is 100% rye. I got the starter in April of last year. It's mostly been sitting in the fridge this summer because I keep going on trips. The starter is a 5:30:24 ratio, 50g starter:300g water:240g rye flour.

What are y'all's sourdough starters named? Mine is Lois.

I've been inspired by you, so mine's coming out of his 6 month retirement too
I don't have a name for him unfortunately, I got him about 6-7 years ago from carl's Oregon trail sourdough starter project.

My original homemade starter was named Mjolnir, but the bread it made didn't taste as good as Carl's starter so I put it to eternal sleep down the drain...

My starter is Genesis and I have some rye flour in it too along with white and water. And I have added ACV once to give it a boost. I use it weekly and feed it weekly. Sourdough is our favorite. Aria
