Hello again Marie , way too hot here also 91 but feels like 100

Going up to 94F here today, "feels like" 105 to 108. But I am making a cheesecake anyway. Yup, a real one that goes in the oven. First time, but it is on my Bucket List, lol. It's in the oven now.

Chicken pot pie. A body needs something warm and comforting in a stressful situation. Or mulligan soup. You might want to clear everything out of the fridge in advance in case you lose power.

Will do. GirlChild is coming over tomorrow to learn how to make chicken with dumplings, and she is bringing toppings for the cheesecake. Will post pics tomorrow. Drool your hearts out, lol! The springform pan leaks but I wrapped it in several layers of aluminum foil, so ... Fiingers crossed!

Sally, how do you make your caramel sauce? I made a good one with sw condensed milk once but now I don't remember how. Put it in the oven, I think. Could google it again I guess.
