Y'all, I have some miracle chicks. These babies got down to 75 F three days ago and today 2 hatched and the other one is pipping. I took the incubator to my friends' house because they had power, and wow. I present Clover, Adele, and Ida!

Oh. Lol. Well then I have enough for many people! I'm testing it today to make sure it will reconstitute.

The good news is that the dehydrated starter will last for years!

I loved reading that old-timers used to use it to chink the gaps in their log cabins! I hope it's okay to flush the discard into my septic system...?

I put it down the drain all the time. It is supposed to be good for the pipes.

but it's cinnamon pancake, much lovely than plain ones.

How nicely, evenly cooked they are!!! Mine never look like that.

Ordinary, plain non-flavored ones though.

We usually put thawed blueberries in the pancakes.
