Any Home Bakers Here?

@lnsoaps Welcome to the Home Bakers thread.

There is a Google Spreadsheet on Page 1 of this thread that will take you to all of the recipes that we have posted. Hopefully there are a couple of recipes that can be added to your recipe file.

I am working on consolidating my recipes into 3 ring binders for ease in finding the one I want, when I want it. Right now I have to flip through my recipe box full only to find out that it is not in there ...
I was looking at the All American Canner also. Kinda spendy, but with the quantities that I like to can, it will be worth it - when they get them back in stock, lol. I am using a hand-me down canner that has seen better days. The bottom of the canner is bowed out a little bit, so it doesn't sit nice and flat on the burner - but with a gas stove it isn't that big of deal. I would like to get a canner that will hold more than 7 quarts/pints at a time.
Yeah the 925 is perfect for me. You can stack in it. But still light enough to handle. They get pretty heavy.

I lost all my recipes in the Hurricane Florence storm. I'm having to start all over again.
Post the best ones here for the spreadsheet and as long as you have a computer you can access them .... and we can enjoy them! :D

We are still displaced from Florence so its hard doing anything in the RV.
Florence, from 2018? And still displaced? That really sucks!!!! Any timeframe when you can get permanently settled again? I take it you are in NC or SC? You can put that in your profile since people sometimes ask question and the answer might be different depending on one's location. Not so much on this thread of course.

Welcome to the baker's thread!

I agree. I lost all my recipes in the Hurricane Florence storm. I'm having to start all over again. I particularly love making sourdough bread. There's just something so nostalgic about it when you smell that through the house. I'm currently looking for an All American Canner so I can get back to canning and making cherry pies.

:welcome They bake a lot of sourdough bread on this thread.
