Think I'm baking cookies today. To thank my mechanic for finally finding the trouble with my car. Valve cover has a tiny hairline crack and needs replaced. I'm probably not 'splainin' this right, but it was losing compression and would not stay in cruise control. Should be fixed today, hooray. Oatmeal banana pecan chocolate chip, how does that sound?
It was likely losing vacuum?

Well, I got to reading about sourdough, both regular and GF, and never made the plain ol' GF bread. But I do have a sourdough question....

What do you all do with the starter that you discard? Throw it in the compost? Make something with it? Feed it to the chickens? Can you save it up and make crackers or cookies or waffles or pancakes?
I do not discard much.

It helps keep the drains open though.

I use my Genesis SDS once a week. Take out what you need....feed it ...let it rise and place it back in
refrigerator until you bake again. I NEVER THROW OUT....use,feed, back in the refrigerator. It works. You can leave in refrigerator just stir for two weeks. Happy Sourdough baking. Aria
Perfect answer! I only discard when I clean the jar-- every couple of months usually

RON and all: They are so delicious. Recipe from a Guy in Germany. My friend in the Airforce was stationed in Germany for a long time. He gave me the recipe. They would walk to the German Bakery..... He is the neighbor who does many
chores for me. And I say Thank you with Bread I
bake for him. He says my bread and rolls are the Best. Aria
