Any Home Bakers Here?

Got my first turkey today, but it’s not the kind you bake.

Big baking day coming up, next week is my churches General Conference. I always bake a lot of bread that day while listening to it.

Try this one from index Chocolate chip cookies.

The original toll house recipe is similar. Here it is If you would like to compare.

I usually follow the recipe on the back of the package, but 7 of out 10 times I get something wrong and they come out dry, mushy, or like peanut brittle...

I just noticed something about GF SDS. I probably should have fed her yesterday, but didn't. She'd risen, and now has settled. The bottom inch, which had no bubble activity (that's common for her) now has little bubbles. Like the stuff that settled to the bottom of the jar has now become food.

Gotta take DH to the airport today. Since it's an hour away, that kind of shoots the whole afternoon for baking projects that need intermittent minding.

Driving home today from a weekend trip that ended up being depressing as heck, lol! Natchitoches LA is just a depressing city with bad vibes imo

Safe travels to you both!

Hmm, interesting. I'll be on the lookout for differences in activity in the layers.
I've discovered the heavier rice flour likes to sink to the bottom.
