Any Home Bakers Here?

Good evening Baker's :)

I baked a ginger cake today.

Self raising flour
Lot's of ginger powder
A teaspoon of cinnamon and nutmeg
1 egg
1 teaspoon of bicarbonate soda
Molasses and brown cane sugar
Warm water
Olive oil and butter

I mixed my molasses into the egg with sugar then I added a little of the warm water olive oil and butter

A little at a time i added the flour into my mix along with the bicarbonate and the remainder of the water.
Then left my mixture covered for an hour before greasing my casserole dish with butter

This was baked with the lid on too keep this cake moist
