Made an apple streusel cake for a friend ( it’s her birthday) was kind of hard, baking a cake and not even having a tiny slice, but it was a present, and you can’t open them, not a tiny bit

Does the topping have slivered almonds on it?

Yes, it does, at least my friend liked it so much, she already ate 4 slices and I just bought blueberries and I’m going the bake the cake with blueberries for our family

I forgot to update you guys on this. Right now, I have a bunch of salt on the fan and the beard of the turkey. After about 2-4 weeks, I think, it should be good enough to mount on the wall.

The beard is almost 3 inches long.

They look like nicely toasted almond slivers!

When I was Born, 10 of the 40 acres were almond trees. I remember being very young and watching the Family harvest them with rubber knocking mallets onto canvas tarps.
