I once made the comment (via text) that a coworker had "a voice that would cut sheet metal," and the 'friend' I texted back, "Oh, like yours?"

I think he meant it as a joke, but it hurt.

I don't know anyone whose voice on a recorder sounds to them like the voice they hear in their head when they speak. It surprises a lot of people the first time they hear their own voice from a recording.

Right now the temperature is 58F. I got apple oat bread in the bread machine. I’ll let you all know how it turns out when it’s done.

I started oatmeal apple bread, but we agreed we were not in the mood for more apple and oatmeal, so it’s just gf (oat flour) oat bread. It’s about to go into the oven.
I’m usually making the same thing as Penny, so it’s a switch!

Also, the apple oat bread turned out good. It’s not my best looking loaf, but it’s still delicious.
