I decided to do a wet brine for the turkey. Thank you all for the input.

On a sidenote, this is the first time I ever saw this, but my potato plant flowered.

When the potato plants blossom it usually means they are already forming tubers.

Wow, this is interesting! My
potatoes always flower white with an orange center, I didn’t know before today that they can bloom in different colors!!

I've seen some nice rain in my life.
When I lived in California there was a storm on Thursday, which was trash collection day where I lived. We lived on a hill. Some of the people had their cans out after the truck had picked them up. Some of us were looking out the front window, and a trash can rolled right down the street. It ended up staying down there for a few weeks. And this street was a very nice and clean street.

Yesterday we ran out of bread, I went to our health food store, but they didn’t have any parking space 😬 since I can no longer walk a lot, I drove home and made a yeast bread ( too late for sourdough) I used a recipe which calls for less yeast but said to let the dough rise 4 times!, which I think was a mistake 🙄 I fear when I put it in the oven, most of the yeast was “used” up and it didn’t rise as well as it should have, but it tasted good anyway

Is it supposed to be brown like that? I would guess so.
At least it was edible.
Once, I had bread rising in the oven. My siblings asked how long it should bake for. I did not realize they were asking about baking it, so I said "30 minutes". My Uncle was visiting, and we had burnt bread with whatever we were having for dinner
