My play, by play for this bake.
Dough is somewhat stiff for this bake.
I used pie filling as my fruit topping.
After a first rise, rolled out into 2 logs,,, Cut each into 12 individual rounds. Made rounds with indentation in center. Filled with pie filling. Sprinkled with streusel . Now for second rise as oven warms up.
Below are the cherry filled ones
Pans are cookie sheets.
Out of oven after nicely tanned. Baked @350°F for about 25 minutes.
Checked for DONE with thermometer. Toothpick method also works fine.
Cherry filled
Made this Jell-O Cheesecake. Just the cheese portion.
Placed into a container, and refrigerated for a few hours.
Then used a scooper, to place cheese topping on top of Danishes.
Very delicious

and the cheese really made delicious topping as well.

Added the cheese just before serving. This way,, it was an option to have it or not.
