Evening all! Baked a loaf of

sourdough sandwich bread and am currently making bread crumbs from the old loaf that was getting past its prime lol

@jnicholes Sorry your car broke down, glad it was close to home, not on a high speed road. Surely your mother would let you use her car to get what you need for her birthday dinner!

It’s all right. I’ve already figured out an alternative that I am doing.

I’m going to fix the car today, and then make a pumpkin pie.

If you have a strong starter, you would not need to raise for 12-18 hours without yeast. Usually with my starter, double the resting time is plenty.
