I have been printing out the recipes and putting them in sheet protectors. I then put them in a three ring binder. I can remove the sleeve I need, hang it from the pants hanger on the cabinet handle so it isn't messed up or it can be wiped off. It works for me.I am also thinking about how to āsaveā recipes, still havenāt found the perfect solution, first was traditional, writing it in a book, but itās hard cos the pages kept closing, and looked bad after a while ( dripping sauce, butter whatever) them I tried printing them out and holding them together with a coil, better, the front page is plastic ( easy to wipe down) the back cardboard , but⦠the pages are still getting messed up and since only the front is plastic, but when it is open, you lay it in wet stuff and the recipe on the back suffersā¦so, still not a perfect solution, I am thinking about printing them out and sealing every page in plastic, not very environment friendlyhave you got any better ideas?! I need LARGE print ( a few year ago, I could still read the fine print without any trouble
)
I do this also, put the recipes in plastic sheet protectors and store them in a three-ring binder. It's divided into sections: Entrees, Soups, Breads, Desserts, etc. I take out the recipe I want, still in its plastic sleeve, when I want to make that recipe. I don't see well, so I have it on the counter where I can peer at it as I cook. If it gets a little flour or oil on it, no worries, a wet washcloth wipes it clean when I am done, and back in the binder it goes. The Binder is called "The Good Grub Book." When each of my kids moved out and left home, they got a copy of their own so they could make all their favorite dishes. Best Hash, Mom's World Famous Chili, Christmas Fudge, etc. My son said it was the best gift he ever got.I have been printing out the recipes and putting them in sheet protectors.
