Your kitchen, your rules! Eat the frosting if you want to! Enjoy.I am embarrassed to make this confession, but I’m going to make it anyway. Y’all think what you think of me as it is, so I don’t think this is really going to change your mind about me.
Until today, I have never made a good batch of buttercream frosting. I am pretty sure I used margarine a time or two, and 100% sure I didn’t do it right. I did not cream the butter alone for several minutes first. I did not sift my powdered sugar. I did not mix the batches of sugar in for a minute or so between. I did not keep it on low.
Now I have the right frosting, and a new problem.I want to eat it without cake.
