Made a sponge cake with cherries poured cream cheese frosting over it. Directions said do not grease the pan darn stuck next time not.

Maybe the assumption was,,, Non-stick pans, or silicone pans that you peel away.
Silicone is not something I intend to use. Each individual is entitled to their choices.
My leader of the pack in baking,,, is parchment paper. Easy extract,,, as well as SUPER MINIMAL CLEANING. :old:thumbsup
 
I can see the ala-mode,, :thumbsup but run by me what it takes to make Apple dumpling.:confused:
One cored and peeled apple, place on rolled out pie crust dough. Fill core with brown sugar or in my case Sucralose. Dust with powdered cinnamon. Add piece of butter over filled core. Fold dough up and seal . I stick it in the oven with the pie that is baking and remove it when the pie is done.
