As I said before, she’s constantly moving hay around and making a nest, and she’s not leaving the nesting box.

I had a Legbar pullet do that yesterday. She didn't lay her egg until sometime during the night when she was on the roost.

She is back in the nest box today. Nothing more yet.

When they are actually ready to lay, they will stand up, get hunched up and then drop the egg.
