Our temps have dropped we can bake again.

When I went out to see my chickens one of my Barred Rocks was dead and a rooster.

I'm so sorry! Did you lose the rooster too, or is he still out there? No idea where he's from?

It *might* be cool enough to bake in about 10 days.

The weather is whacked right now.

Fun thread! I never considered baking until the lockdowns. We were in the store and the bread aisle was empty. I looked at my husband and said "I bet they have flour .. and yeast" .. and viola! my yeast bread baking interest began!

Still learning. I'll have to peruse this thread for recipes and real-world experience.. lol.

Don't have a machine, knead by hand. I mostly do artisan bread in my dutch oven, white bread for sandwiches, hamburger buns, and recently cinnamon breads and rolls.

I look forward to sharing and learning!
