Any Home Bakers Here?

My cheesemaking experiment finally succeeded.

On the left is mozzarella cheese made from curds, on the right is Mysost cheese made from whey.

Now I know what to do with cheese whey, just make more cheese with it!

Gingerbread cookies without ginger 😅 I like ginger, but not in my cookies

Regular Christmas cookies, usually, I would decorate them more, but they are for my father-in-law and even though he can’t see a lot, he likes simple, cookies are a bit darker cos I use 50% whole wheat flour
 
I had something weird happen to my dough yesterday, made a regular sd dough for 2 breads, separated it in 2 bowls as usual to let it rise overnight, the next morning, one was ok, the other one hadn’t risen at all 😵‍💫 so, baked the one that was ok, took the other one in the kitchen to rise, after 8 hrs, still NOTHING 🤷🏻‍♀️ I added some yeast and baked it, but… did something like that ever happen to anyone of you 🤔
I assume that you have used different bowls?
