Any Home Bakers Here?

Good morning, All! I'm also dealing with leftovers today. I make frozen dinners in divided plates with lids that include vegetables and some ham. The remaining ham will go into the freezer in small bags to use as seasoning or added to other things for casseroles. The ham bone will make bone broth and a pot of bean soup. We are blessed to have so much food!

Interesting, I wonder why ham and not goose is the favorite?! Ham I can have every day, so it is nothing special here…
I did not see Goose for sale here so access may be a resason

I ran the ham gristle and tougher bits through my food processor, then mixed in crushed egg shells.

It went over big. :thumbsup
I imagine that those crushed egg shells must have gave a sand like sensation when biting with your teeth. :idunno
mix in our chicken eggs and top with cheese.
Did you peel the eggs???:old

I imagine goose may be similar to turkey.
We had both Ham:drool:drool:drool,,, and Turkey:drool:drool:drool

Yes, goose is very fat ( delicious) and tastes way more like duck than turkey, but cranberry sauce goes very well with it too 😉
I always roast it with thyme, onions, carrots, celery root, parsley root and apples, the juices flowing over it and also the fat roasting the veggies and apples, makes a fantastic sauce at the end ( after you have removed all the fat , there are special jugs just for that )
