So my husband sent me to a swap meet this morning to replace one of the chicks. I found two or three people with bantams and I thought this was pretty. However, I misread what I got, I came home and told me husband that I got a "Duckling Old English Bantam"... he says "what you got a duck?" So I did some research, apparently it's DUCKWING Old English Bantam. We both agreed it was a beauty.
I tried to take some pictures... let me know what you think, is this considered to be silver, and does anyone have a picture of a grown up Duckwing Old English Game Bantam just so know what it might look like when it's older.
I took a box to the swap meet so that if I bought anything I would have something to put it in. Well I only bought this one bantam. I put it in the box and before I got out of the parking lot it was not happy... So I picked it up and put it in my lap and put one hand over it to let it feel comfort but not tight enough to hurt it... and it fell asleep, not a peep all the way home. Such a sweetheart...
I was told it was about 2-3 weeks old. Beautiful coloring I think...
and a picture of the wing span, even though somewhat blurry.
