Pekin, the older they get, the messier they get. I would not combine them with your chicks.
The ducks can live with the chickens, but most times they will not go in the coop, they will choose time sleep outside. As babies, ducks and chicks shouldn’t be combined because ducks are just so wet and messy and chicks like it dry and clean. If the dog is already pining down goats, I would be worried. i would make it it’s own little house with a fenced in area separate from the chickens, ducks, and goats.I have my 10x10 coop along with my goat shed (which is where my 11 great pyrneese hangs out too) in a large fenced in area. I plan on free ranging all my chickens and the ducks but I’m also prepared to have to fence off in between the coop and shed if my great pyrneese doesn’t do well with the chickens and ducks. She was raised with guineas and she sometimes chases them around. I am having a hard time with her and chasing goats and pinning them down by the neck though So I’d be best to just make the ducks their own little house?

We’ve been working with her a lot she’s just still very much a puppy and we didn’t get the goat until she was almost 6 months old. so hopefully in a about year she will be used to being close, but not accesss to all the animals she’s supposed to protect and we can let them all out together. The ducks can live with the chickens, but most times they will not go in the coop, they will choose time sleep outside.
